From July 1, 2021, the tax administration in Denmark can instruct a company to use a digital system to record sales. From January 1, 2024, companies in certain industries will also be required to use a digital revenue recognition system.
Industries that are necessarily affected by digital sales recording: Cafés Restaurants Bars Discotheques Pizzerias Grill bars Ice cream parlors Food retailers and 24-hour kiosks
